Today... Tomorrow ... Forever

Today  i cried

But not for me

For wasted opportunities

That  will never be

 

Today i felt lonely

I dont know why

Surrounded by people

Who dont hear my sighs

 

Tomorrow may be different

But  now is too soon to tell

It may bring unfamiliar feelings

Or ones i know too well

 

Tomorrow is another day

To change  things for the best

Or to face another challenge

To put me to the test

 

But dont ask me for forever

That isnt mine to give

All i can offer is this second

For as long as i live
