Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by Marc Marlon Villaflor
"

My love is everywhere.

"

I am beautiful in everyone’s eyes

My colors and tender wings flap in a magical paradise

Every flower in the field, lilies in the river calling my name

Desires of connecting my spirit in the nectar of dream

I have touched every flower, leaving great memories

Each moment has passed reaching the desired happiness

I fly each day to find the real me, wishing things will change to the uncommon

Wishing to stop in a place where my soul will find the reason

I am tired flying here and there, but I kept pushing my inevitable bend

Someday my wings will stop and my life will end

I want to remember one thing, those flowers are worth remembering

precious gems that embedded in my soul forever, the moment I am dying

I close my eyes, I am a butterfly.

This is incredible Marc. I like the symbiotic relationship you portrayed between your muse and the flowers.
If you're open for suggestion and improvement. Your last ending line is very critical. From your readers point of view there's no need to repeat or reemphasize the subject.
" The moment I'm dying, I close my eyes , as I whisper their names. ?."

The train of thoughts up to the last word line and period continues. Your butterfly still remember each and every flower he visited even until he took his last breath... Its sounds and ends better from your audience point of view.

Well done.
Circular and delicate like your subject matter. YOu are doing a great job of conveying these emotions with tone.
almost a whisper in this one.

A wonderful insight in to the life of a butterfly, with a convincing and effective characterisation, I love the self awareness of this being :)

Beautiful. Writing about human life and its end is too mainstream, I like a new read and a new concept. Good one!
