 FADE IN:
EXT. RUNDOWN PIZZA PARLOR - LATE IN THE DAY
On the edges of a town too big to be called a town but too small to be called a city. Warm colors flood the stage in sunset. Its a sight that triggers that fuzzy feeling like a smile from a cute stranger.

STRAIGHT CUT

EXT. ON THE SIDE OF THE BUILDING IN AN ALLEYWAY - STILL LATE DAY

A peculiar YOUNG MAN stands beside the dumpster, smiling ear to ear, laughing at something said earlier before the director started rolling. He has a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a plastic water bottle in another. the YOUNG MAN brings the flowers to his face, breathing deeply, and then takes a polite sip from his water bottle. He then looks down smiling at his feet, taking another breath before speaking again.

YOUNG MAN
(to the camera)
It's beautiful isn't it? The
luckiest part of it all is that
you, you will soon learn to see
it as I do. We can be here together
dazing, together. Its bliss.

STRAIGHT CUT

INT. TO A FLOWERY FIELD - DAY

A voice over of the YOUNG MAN speaks as the cameras show us clips of a field.

YOUNG MAN
The secrets to life come in a set of
seven. Like the seven wonders of the
world or the seven deadly sins or what
ever else you would like to compare it
to.

The YOUNG MAN takes a quick break and we watch the flowers. They are beautiful, they don't do anything ugly or rude. They manage to live together without harming or corrupting one another. The Earth smiles on them.

YOUNG MAN
The first secret to life is vanity.
Vanity is bliss the more you love yourself
the easier it is to love one another
The best love there is is self
love. And I don't mean the empty
one night stand love, although
it is more widely available and
works quickly. To experience a world
as splendid as mine you must
fall madly in love with yourself
YOUNG MAN KNEELS TO SMELL THE FLOWERS

YOUNG MAN
(breathes deeply through his nose)
I, for one, fell for myself
sophomore year and I still get
butterflies when I look in the mirror.
(laughter)
YOUNG MAN stands back up and brushes the dirt off his knees.

YOUNG MAN
My next tip seems dark, but it
works
