Eyes of the Sky

Stretched out across the blackened sky

Beams of light

In the horizonless abyss

Guiding peopke to their prize

For a thousand years

 

Millions of shining, sparkling eyes

Twinkling in the dark night sky

The true fire works on the 4th of July

 

These are the stars that inspire me,

Brighten me

I wrote this while out in the country where the stars aren't blocked out by light polution. They are like angels' eyes
