Golden Silence

I started this poem a while ago. I lost it then found it one night. I don't know where I got the lines from.

Love and hate.

Secret lie.

Golden silence

in short supply.

 

Lover's dance

on fate's loom.

Could there be

a bit more room?

 

Could hate love?

Could love hate?

Can we bring

the white peace dove?

 

Is the world

really flawed?

Or is it just

the plan of God?

 

Will you think

about love's gift?

Or will you let

hate grow a rift?

 

These are all

good questions to ask

when your lover gives the call.

Love and hate all around.
