chapter one

Kayla groaned as the beeping of her alarm clock sped up. She rubbed her eye and lazily smacked her hand ontop of the clock, making the annoying noise stop. "Finally, peace," Kayla thought, snuggling back under her warm covers. After what seemed like seconds, Kayla opened her eyes again and gasped as she read on the clock that she was two hours late for school. "S**t, s**t" Kayla mumbled while putting on her boots. She quickly ran a brush through her tangled curls and ran out the door.
