Creep

Creep

A Poem by Amy

I see your eyes wander,

as they scan the environment,

I know what you’re looking for.

I walk by and hear you stop your conversation,

concentrating hard on me,

as I fumble to zip up my jacket.

I hear you softy whisper my name,

enough so that only I can hear,

I feel your eyes glare at me,

so focused that my face burns.

I don’t want you,

why won’t you just go away?

why me out of everyone else?

I have nothing left to say.

It’s time for you to shut your mouth,

keep on walking by,

don’t bother with hello,

because I’ll end it with goodbye.

creep.
