Hung Up

Hung Up

A Poem by Amy

I’m hung up on something that I know I can’t have,

but I’ve never wanted something so bad.

Even though he hasn’t got a clue,

this is my pledge, my feelings are true.

Like a rope, I’m holding on to his ground,

I’m trying to listen, but I can’t make a sound.

From a distance I know he loves me,

but I can’t push, so I let him be.

This is hard, but I’ll be okay,

if this is what he wants,

let him have his way.

Like a rope, I'm holding on to his ground,

Oh my those lines are superb... this is really heartbreaking... love is so complicated and some people can't handle it so they shy away, best thing to to is give space and hope he comes around, just know you can't wait to long for you need to have your life as well.
