A most solitary woman

For what does she wait

Between Schumann and Schubert

A lover?  A sadist?

A shadow’s integration?

He reads her letter

and curses her, a chienne.

Love isn’t everything.

The bane of life, misunderstanding.

What a shame, her gown is all bloodied
