Who is this man?

Who is this man?

A Poem by Diane

He holds me close when I feel myself falling.
He holds me near when things go array.
He lifts my spirits when I am sad.
Also, loves me when I am bad.
Who is this man, you may ask?
He is the man who holds my hand.
The one who guides me through this land.
His heart is mine and mine is his.
The one who gave me life as it is.
He's the one we all dismiss.
Who is this man, you ask?
This man is no man at all.
He is everything and all.
He is the one who freed us all.
He died for us and forgave all.
The father of all fathers.
The father who created it all.
He is the one, the one and all.
He is good.
He is holy.
He is mighty.
He is GOD.

Very well done. Your poem really expresses your faith, and your personal relationship with God.

Well penned devotional and personal expression of your faith. It reminded me of this quote:
"His greatness lacks nothing, but contains all things".- Irenaeus, 130AD-202AD (also referred to as Saint Irenaeus, was Bishop of Lugdunum in Gaul, then a part of the Roman Empire) :-)
