About my friend who just keeps going down the wrong path. I can't help her anymore. I've tried for five years

Why don’t you listen to me?

You know that I care.

Do you honestly not see?

You know that I’m there.

 

Do you not hear what I’m saying?

Are you listening at all?

You see that I’m trying.

Why do you allow yourself to fall?

 

Your making a choice.

It’s one you don’t have to choose.

I can hear it in your voice.

Why are you making me loose?

 

You say I don’t understand.

You say I’ll never know.

I’m always here at hand.

Why are you pushing me to go?

 

You say it’s so easy for me to leave.

You should know that it’s not.

You keep searching for this relief.

I’m sorry this is all I got.

 

You beg me not go.

Yet you always say things hurt the most.

I still care even though.

I’m trying to explain it all through this post.

 

I wish you would open your eyes.

Just for a second see it my way.

Quit living in those lies.
