"

An attempt at a bit of philosophical Poetry that centers around the reality that, no matter who we are, we are each born to die ...

Life

-- that which makes us each living,

alive, vibrant, and cognizant

of our own individual individuality's existence

-- is the very resultant B***h

that is to be the end of our lives!

For there is wisdom within the idiom:

Life's a B***h, and then you die!”

Life is that very determined B***h,

that precious Rose riddled with thorns,

which doth always bring death to us all,

each and every single one,

rich and poor alike,

criminally evil, or piously saintly.

Most ironically, it is Life itself,

which enables Death to deprive living alive

to every living thing, every Human Being,

and that, without discrimination,

without care, and without compassion,

or any fabled Religion's fabrications

of a professed loving God's mercy!

For we all shall die!

We shall die wondering why,

why do we die,

when life is that which we seek after so fervently?

Why do those whom we love so dearly,

have to die with no reason as to the why,

the why of why we die, you and me and I,

but for the harsh reality that we were all,

incomprehensibly, inexplicably, and mercilessly

designed in ultimate expression of duplicitous oxymoron's

dastardly revelation of diametrically opposed observations:

Violence -- not Love -- is the overwhelmingly

predominant force at work within our Universe1,

expressed in candidly brutally frank fashion

of an all too surreal reality always to be found

within that inescapably, inexplicable, indisputable fact

wherein we cannot pray or hope to deny,

that we were all born, Born To Die?2

Death, so to speak is part of life, the end; all of us will die, Not maybe, but will; It just depends upon when; we can be hit by a MAC truck and killed instantly at an early age.... or we could live to be 100 years and slowly our bodies will decay, either happily or unhappily......so life is not infinity, it is finite and we'll never know who will go first.... Nice piece.
