A guy's woe from society

He wants to be left alone
All his life people question his existence
Many wonder if he will ever find love
Or will he be able to lose his virginity

The more he moves forward
The more those questions haunt him
There are times he wants to give in
So he can please his naysayers and move on
Yet he knows if he does so
He will lose himself completely

Now he feels stuck
Sadness creeps up at this point
He buries his face in his hands
He cries deeply with no remorse
He dries his tears

He quietly promises that no matter what
He will live and do the best he can
Hope fills his soul
He is happy....for now

As stated in your profile you have an innocence... which can often make the depth of feelings quite daunting. Your wide open wording here is vulnerable yet quite "matter of fact". In the future, it would be nice to read something that branches out from just the virginity and love to the feelings that make these two things such important themes in your writing.(I say this because I have come across them a couple times while reading your work. Thank you for sharing.)

Sometime it is hard not to have to face problems. Poem is a story happening too often in this society. We must overcome fear and hate to do great things. Sometime the eyes of doubt motivate me to do more in my life. I like the ending. A powerful poem. Thank you.

Yeah, I can really relate to this sentiment. I've known many people that tried to fight against peer pressure and prejudice (I may have been one of them actually for a time). Insightful, though specific. But I think there are some girls who ought to be able to connect to this also..!
