the fall

the fall

A Poem by mystique
"

its about the maintainance of dignity

"

The fall

I don’t want to see you suffocate

Nor I want you to feel tortured

My eyes give you pain

Dripping blood

Causing stains

Tired of bare nothing

Not even a drop of hope

I believe in getting

That’s what I call

The higher we rise

Greater the fall

Now, now don’t stop me with the bonds of regret

Let go of me with all due respect

Me staying here longer

Will make you weaker

I have caused enough

Your wounds won’t cease

Until I leave

So let me fall

That would be all

A good poem :) But can be improvised a lot. Anyways, this is ok for a first poem.. :) And welcome to Writer's Cafe. I'm sure you'll find something of interest here :)

PS. You're not supposed to review your own poems, lol.

Good poem, it has something different to say that easily comes out while reading this poem. In the second line, it should be 'Nor do I...'
great poem :)
