The beginning is quite simple

The beginning is quite simple

A Poem by Nicole Currie

It begins with the most simple of beings,
But Banshee always finds us; sprinkling little crumbs of misery upon pure things.
To be shut up in a cage,
with Marquis de Sade, how sad!
Hide your corpses and animals!
Shut up in a fleshy prison with stone walls crowding round.

We will drown sweet boy,
away from beads of buttery nonsense,
And hanging muslin from branches, you always followed my path.
