Elusive Boy

Elusive Boy

A Poem by Nicole Currie

The wiles of his anonymity are so deceiving.
An apogee of sin
but I am blind.

What a wilful warlock. Away, away sweet nuisance!
Why must we always yield to green eyes,
Piercing voodoo skin.

I float.
I float in melodious bliss.
Floating in his bubbling ocean; I do not wish to ever surface.
