As Surely as Curves Carve Countenance

As Surely as Curves Carve Countenance

A Poem by NelliKong

The curves of my face carve different meanings… the frown is inverted upside-down…  trying to take back my crown… I’ve been playing this game of blackjack torso long and my cards are always facing down. So now I switch to poker and have my game face on with my chips on the table.. this mask is getting harder to keep on and will slip and others will see my missing cables.

Curves that are carved in the upright position can be dangerous… you see a cover page, but if you turn to the next page you would see the massive changes.Smile as wide as a field of roses… but really you didn’t notice, that I have more thorns than petals… trying to pick myself up from where I fell from. Curves don’t always show the true countenance… more like well hidden doubtfulness.
