I may not always give you the best advice

I may not always agree with your decisions

Just know I will always love you

You are so special and wonderful

You may not always want me around

Or even want to listen to what I have to say

When you need me most I will be there

For every person that breaks your heart and takes your heart

Hugs and kisses will be plenty of that you can be sure

Some arguments and fights will show sometimes

That won't waver my love for you

I will support you with whatever you choose

My sweet darling child, my darling child

You are the gem of my eye

The sparkle in my heart

A rose in my garden

I may not always be your friend

I may not always agree with your decisions

You may not like what I have to say

You may not want me around

Just know I will love you

You hold a special place in my heart

My sweet child of mine , my sweet child

I will love you forever no matter what

What, what a sentimental sentiment. Really very lovely ! I know they say there is no greater love than a Mother for her child, and I think that distinctly shows in here.

Nicely written and - you have it just about right. Parents often are people children just don't want around. But when they are hurt or scared or lonely, there is no-one better for them and that is whom they call upon with those magical words of, "Mommy" or "Daddy." :)
