Common Denominator

Inspired by Blue's poem "Dear J" I hope you enjoy my poem =) I took song titles from th 90's and 2000's and used them in the poem. Songs will be listed in the box below.

Dear Common Denominator,

Oops I did it again I fell for your Smooth tricks.

You Say my name and say I will always love you.

Even though we all know you just want to Bump N Grind.

Honey, Believe me when I say you are living in a Fantasy.

I may have fallen for Nothing compares to you.

Maybe even I have been looking for A girl like you.

Never Again.

Baby you are Toxic to my health

Cry me a river of your tears.

So what you are a Loser.

All the things I've done for you I now regret

I gave you a Piece of me and you crushed it.

When I'm gone I hope you remember I'm Irreplaceable

I am at the End of the road.

I want no part of you Bad Romance anymore

There is no Try again button.

This is so uplifting and creative! Pop songs trivialize romantic angst by conveying it in an acceptably light manner. You managed to express that light tone successfully in this poem.
