My New Friend

My new friend is quite sweet

He makes me laugh and smile 

We have so much in common 

It's nice to have a friend like him 

Only been a week since we met 

I feel I've made a friend for life 

Hope we keep in touch for a while 

He seems so sweet and wild 

My new friend what a guy he is 

He wants to be a Math or History teacher

He likes some of the same bands as me 

From Kiss to AC/DC to rain and snow 

I could talk for hours to my new friend 

He makes my day just so much brighter

I hope he feels the same way 

He is really cool I must say 

My new friend is quite the best 

He is just above the rest 

My new friend is such a nice guy 

He is just as sweet as pie
