14th year of 9/11. Never forget that because of an unjust act many people lost their lives

Today we remember those who lost their lives

We remember the feelings we felt 

We remember the exact place we were in time 

Frozen in a memory we won't forget

9-11-2001 will always be a day of loss 

It will be a day of sadness 

It will also be a day of unity

It will be a day of remembrance 

We come together as a nation 

We share in the pain and the loss 

We are reminded that life is not guaranteed

We we reminded to be thankful for the loved ones we have

Never forget those who have died

The ones who can't be here on holidays or birthdays

Those who miss out on life 

Those who survived 

Today we remember those who survived 

We remember those feelings 

We remember seeing those that could see another day

Author's Note

I was in school at the time of the towers. My dad came and got me. We walked home since were lived close. We turned on the t.v. and watched as the towers burned. Where were you??

Washington state. I had just stepped out of the shower. All clean and sparkly I turned on the morning news and the first plane had already hit. For the next few hours I surfed News channels to gather as much information as I could. A towel, my clothes that entire morning.
