From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart

From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart

A Poem by MandaBear
"

Got the inspiration from Brittney Spears's song of the same name

"

I'm sorry for what I did
Sorry I even opened my mouth
I didn't consider your feelings
I only thought of my own

You know I wouldn't hurt you on purpose
You know how much our friendship means to me
You know I would take it all back if I could
If it meant getting you back

I know my words don't mean much
I know I can't take away the hurt
I know nothing I can say will fix the damage I caused
But I want you to know from the bottom of my broken heart

I'm sorry

Even though, I can't change the past hopefully I can help change the future

The reason I really love this authentic expression of apology is becuz too few people in this world ever can humble themselves enuf to say "sorry" when an apology is badly needed & it could be the very thing to help heal a broken relationship. I can think of a few people I need to say this to . . . and a few that I wish would say it to me. It's the perfect expression of "sorry" becuz there's no blame, but palpable remorse. Such sincerity should be rewarded with another chance.

Everything is perfectly fine my frnd, keep on smiling, don't worry... You did nothing wrong... Misunderstanding along with the issues of heart caused it...

Sincerely
Dhiman
