On shore of Lake Ontario
Does my day’s journey go
To where the breezy water breaks
To where gusty lake-winds blow
All along the pier and benches
Water floods and breaks
Washing the sun-drenched pier
Giving what pier takes
Gulls and geese stand steadfast
Against full lake breeze blast
So as it has been and is now
So I have come at last
Burning skies above me
Windy moan on sails
Across Great Lake Ontario
Big Smoke calls and hails
I venture on along the shore
In motion do I ride
Treaded path of gravel crunch
Along secret paths I hide
I come onto sandy spot
And sit amongst the sand
Lake and sky and sun and beach
Stretch out along the land
Air will smell of lake-breeze
Sun comes beaming down
Summer comes and it comes now
Upon this sleepy town

I like the feel of this piece, a solitary beach with the sound of the lapping water and smell of the clean lake water.
Another piece well written!!!
