life of a teenage girl chapter 1

Chapter 1

 

It was very cold outside and snow covered the roads, but at least it was a bit sunny and the birds were chirping, to add to my despair winter was coming to an end.

Mom was driving like Fast And Furious. I could feel my heart throbbing, really Mom was too pissed to remember my fear of high speed. I couldn’t speak and I couldn’t tell her, my sister next to me was texting her slaves as I always call them. Then suddenly she realized something was wrong and started laughing

“Mom! Slow Down!! Do you want to kill Stacey?!! Her face is white!!”

On the spur of the moment mum stopped the car and apologized. Eventually I was ok.

As we entered the school getting the usual mocking glances from people. It wasn’t easy at first I was only a freshman and my sister a sophomore; when Mom started teaching at Lorrison High (I know right weird name for a school but it wasn’t so weird to the guy who started it and who founded our town on the far northern America), but I eventually got used to it; unlike my sister who tried to blend in and formed her own posse now being a senior she didn’t care much about the situation at hand.

I followed my mum into the staff room and it was stormy, teachers were outraged and the fear I felt in my bones increased, Mom sat me down on her chair and all the teachers turned around

“Why are you refusing to talk? Huh? Were you part of this??”

“No but  ...”

“No buts if you weren’t a part of it then tell us who is!!” Mom shouted

“Come on Lisa!! Calm down! And stop screaming at her….. we all know it wasn’t her fault. Can’t you see it is hard for her as well” said Mr. Henderson my English teacher

Now I’m a bit relived. I knew he will understand what I am going through, he was always there when I needed someone to talk to. Being a very attractive man in his late twenties people will think that I am a dumb teen in love with her hot teacher which is the case of many girls but not me.

To me Mr. Henderson was my best friend he is there whenever I need him educationally or emotionally he invited me to dinner once to meet his fiancée Sarah, a lawyer and is the nicest person I ever met and they really make the most beautiful couple.

“Now , Stacey look at me, do you know who did this or did you witness anything at that part that could help us find that person?”

I nodded

 “Who is it?”

I couldn’t lie to him but I also didn’t want to ruin my life any more than this

 “A-Are you sure no one will know it is me?”

“Don’t worry we all promise no one will know” and everyone in the room nodded their heads

“It was Leo Adams; He said it in front of everyone last night”

“Good. Now tell me was there anyone else involved?” I hesitated and they all felt it.

Lydia was waiting for me outside the principal’s office and jumped when she saw me

 “So tell me what you said?”

“I lied” was all I told her.
