i'm sorry i'm not her

i'm sorry i'm not her

A Poem by kelsey violette

you left me here

with my arms outstretched.

looking back at you walk away

i wonder what i did

to make you leave

i'm sorry i'm not perfect

i whispered

you looked back

it's not that

you're just not her

"her" echos in my head

i'm not her

i'm not pretty enough to be her

why even try

i cant live up to his high standards

i'm s**t to him

why waste my time

right?

why can't i get my mind off him

he treats me like trash

why must i be in agony

all because i can't be her

i can't get him

slit my wrists

black out

hit the ground

i can be her

somewhere else...

so touching...ive been there before....i can understand these words perfectly...just be you and if that isnt perfect enough for anyone then they dont desreve you...maybe you should take a look at my piece called Perfectly Imperfect...it says is all in that piece...

I like the final two lines, very nice. :) One typo I found: "why wate my time" should be 'waste' =)
