What Will Be Will Be?

What will be will be?

The future is not ours

to see.

Is very apt.

None of us can predict

what next year or any

a year will be like.

Fate is either against us

or with us.

All we can do is just

take each new day

as it comes around.

And live for the moment

regardless of the outcome.

The more we dwell, panic, worry,

get upset over not being able to control life.

The more down and depressed

it puts yourself into despair as we

can not get the outcome we wish for

to happen.

So just go with the flow

the best you can

and deal with what you

can deal with as it happens

if things do go wrong.

As they always do.

I know that one big time.

But we overcome and

learn and move on

no matter what.

That is life and living.

Cheerful sod.

I am lol.

But a realist too.

The ever elusive life control module, I never found one but i guess i didn't really look for it all that much one thing i learned quickly is the ones that have this need are the ones that ultimately end up being controlled by the compulsion to be in control ironically. Please don't ever change that outlook it is lovely as is your poem.

I tend to like verses like this a lot, the same as I like the idea that everyday is another dice roll, not clandestine. I would hate to think that we have complete control over our lives. Seems to me that would take a lot of the fun and surprise out of it.

We definitely don't get much say in where our fate takes us, do we? I love the message of persevering despite the bad hand that life deals out sometimes. The title, "What will be will be?" feels like both the question and the answer to itself and to the poem too. Life just kind of "will be" and you can't change that fact. Loved this poem.
