Embrace The Sky

Embrace The Sky

A Poem by Love's Merciless.

Flames flicker kissing the air

Brushing against the darkness

Embers embed in dark soil

Rain falls, slipping along the seam of every crack

Let my breath embrace the sky

Make me remember when the amnesia sets in

Tempt me to show you what longing truly is

The devil laughs, seduce

The sweaty palms shut down inhabitations

Daisies edged in the shadows

Wilting beneath the emptiness and blades of grass

Smiles fade, the flowers hit the floor

Orange skies milk misunderstanding

She knew but never corrected him when he said he did

Amazing words and emotion in this poem. No weaknesses. Just great description. So many lines stood out in the poem.

I like reading poetry with heart and passion. You have both in this poem.
