Good Days No More

Good Days No More

A Poem by Lune
"

A short poem on how a cherished love can turn into a regrettable past. Hope you enjoy my writing.

"
The coffee thickens
as the blinds brighten,
Letting in bits of light,
Illuminating your beautiful body.

Your perfect smile shining brighter than anything to exist,
Even the sun would fear the beauty of your smile,
You, laying here beside me,
Making me wonder, what I had ever done to deserve you.

But as times changed and days darkened,
My opinions were short lived and the memories started to rot.
You became a void sucking out both our light,
Making me wonder, what I had ever done to deserve you.
