A Poem by L

Words amassed in cold stagnation
Pour them out as my libation
Blameless, rancid reparation
Soul in silence rest

Silhouetted shaking splendour
Still my heart will not surrender
Stammered means and ends to render;
Taken, broken, blessed

Wonderful. Really wonderful. Such a pleasure to read over and over.

'Silhouetted shaking splendour
Still my heart will not surrender'

i like how this suggests all those words we bottle up and then pour out because there is just no way to stop them. i also liked the connotation of line 6 - that sense of not giving in. Great poem :)

it isn't so easy to find the 'blessed' in it

This is awesome, found myself reading it out loud. There aren't many that can make words fit so well
