Fairy Tales

Fairy Tales

A Poem by parker

Pale as snow, my girl Snow White,
But she would color crimson,
Cheeks flushed when you appeared.
Fiercely blushing her feelings for you.

Heart like gold, my Goldilocks,
And she would shine so bright,
Lighting any room, any world
When you gazed into her eyes.

Dreams of love, Sleeping Beauty,
Spun sugar stories of loving you.
Sleep, she'll sleep her life away,
Dreaming she's in love with you.

Loves the beasts, my girl, my Belle.
She loves lost causes, she loves you.
She imagines happy endings,
She thinks you will transform,
Beauty's Beast is kind inside.

Made of glass, this Cinderella.
You shattered her heart and her perfect love
Into tiny pieces, spraying reflections
Of a time gone by, of a fairy tale.
