Deep

Deep

A Poem by parker

Come, lie with me.
Give me your strong arms,
your dark voice,
your far-away eyes
that look into me and beyond me
forever.

Come, lie with me.
Close your eyes and breathe,
deep, deep,
while my hands slide over you
like a soft, steady rain,
and I could watch you sleep and breathe
forever.

Come, lie with me,
I'll lie with you,
and we'll lie to ourselves.
As I pretend
that she's not there
and you pretend
that I don't know
and we pretend
that we two souls
can lie together peacefully
forever.

it's nice to see a romantic poem that isn't dirty, simply suggestive.
