Ice

Ice

A Poem by parker

Breathe
I can't
- -
Air
Give me
- -

Heart pounding,
chest heaving,
I rise from the
ice water
and I can't
- -

I can't believe...
Every word,
every lie
I just believed.
Without a thought,
without a doubt,
and you smile
and you flirt
and you reach out for me
but it's too
late.

Here comes the
- -
Breathe,
I can't
- -
Numb,
I've never been so
- -

I can't breathe
but I can see,
the ice has cracked
your world of lies
and I know that soon
I'll be glad I know
but right now
the shock
has stopped
my heart
and I can't
- -
