still air

still air

A Poem by paul

I sold my soul
to the wind

for still air

but the wind always wins

and still air
is rare

:) this reminds me of

to dream together with them,
because we move all the time,
and we make history - OUR history - change..[...]"

. yeah ... it really is rare ... so rare ... that i stare into its eyes ... when i can ... and it stares back into my silence ...

I like the feel that comes with this piece - gentle and serene but with a slight twist of something elese that I just can't figure out right now...not sadness or regret but something a little melancholy I think...
anyway - a lovely poem, I enjoyed reading this. Great work.

great rhymes, they flow, but I think they lack clarity in the meaning. It seems short and sweet, but I feel like it is missing the meat of the poem. We can't all understand what is in your head... Sometimes you have to be more obvious.

'I sold my soul to the wind'...Your soul is always so in tune with the nature...
The wind drifted away from me rung by rung
climbing up to dense collection of nimbus
each rung had its unease..resonance..
yet somewhere between these rungs of uneasy noise
there quietly lay the stillness and peace i was looking for..

I hope my words made any sense at all.. they were simply inspired by yours..nothing as perfect though.
Amazing poem.

The wind is winning here. Though what it's winning is unclear.

You are gone, gone with the wind... Very cute.

I have found in my travels that still air is the signal that it is going to change direction ~

you definitely know your elements.
I concur with, but without fear of emmah.
(Lord, I hope she doesn't read this)

.
i agree with em
and i agree with you
the winning wind
is a biting wind
the winning wind
is a sinning wind
and it doesn't care
for me or you
it only carries
and spreads
the blues
