it was the sea

"fish wish they were free" and men wish they had the call of the sea on their brow, well written, simple and effective to no end, well done!

there's night, there's sky, there's wind , there's mind, there's fish and their wishes..
that's all it takes isn't it?
we wish we are what we never can be

This is my favourite of the three I have read, particularly "wind maddens minds"/"blows blind". You have a great economy of words.

whatever wish every creation of this universe makes....every wish is somehow the same wish....a wish to be free...and being free is the most blessed blessing of Almighty...

To be or not to be? To be, always...

Isn't that always the way? To wish to be what we can never be...

Good stuff here. There are many scenarios playing off of these simple, well placed words. The last word blew my mind.
Excellent!

i like this. i like how you've given persona to the sky and the fish. it's interesting how often we wish we were something else when we are perfectly made into who and what we're supposed to be, just like the fish in the sea.
