My Baby Shot Me Down.

My Baby Shot Me Down.

A Chapter by Babylon
"

It's pretty obvious what this one is about.

"

I once put on a blindfold with hearts drawn on it and I became struck by the arrow while my arms reached out for some sort of security of knowing where I was. The feeling of the skin on your arm while my hands traveled up to the tips of your shoulders was indescribable. You comforted me with your lips that brushed against my jawline and the whispers of lies that crept into my ears. You told me to put on a blindfold and it would all be over soon. Your nails digging into my back told me that the pain would go away and you were here to stay. Grabbing me by my arms to turn me around and find another target, my back was faced towards you and I felt the bullet sink into my aligned spine. My hands caught my fall but I struggled to get up, my eyes glazed with shock and despair. I stayed in that position and thought I'd go nowhere. You struck the needle into my heart and gave me a tattoo so I would always have a constant reminder when I fell in love, I'd always think of you.

I would have to say this is my favorite chapter [My Baby Shot Me Down], I think it is very fluent and doesn't really have any snags that break the reading up in an uneasy pattern. The details are pretty well mapped out and you don't splurge to many unnecessary details that would over do the scene. And the ending line, I saw it coming from the beginning, but you still somehow pulled it off in a subtle smooth manner.
"The feeling of [your] skin on your arm while my hands traveled up [them] to the tips of your shoulders was indescribable."
I feel like this line sounds a little weird, maybe drop 'them' or throw a comma in. And the first 'your' maybe change it to 'the', it just sounds weird to have two 'yours' so close.
Well those are just my opinions, in general, I loved it. Nice Job.
