Osiris

Osiris

A Poem by nigrum homonculus
"

another god poem. Osiris is the Egyptian god of death, rebirth, the underworld and vegetation. he judges souls in the hall of truth. just thought it would be interesting to write about him.

"

His skin, emerald green

Gleams with a light to bright to be seen.

His words, abundant with judgement.

Decides the fate of the bereavement.

Let live or let die,

Constantly throwing the dice.

Produce clementine’s?

Or produce famine and swine.

Decisions are made,

No profit to be gained.

His eyes will determine,

The valiant from the vermin.

He will embrace or disgrace,

Put land and man on a hearse.

Drain the crops dry,

And bring about a rebirth.

Well written, great imagery, and all together amazing poem! You may want to work on the length of a few of the lines to help them fit with the flow, but it doesn't really distract the readers attention. The rhyme scheme is great, another amazing poem.
