“Gypsy Waulking Song Revisited”

I roam o’er the land
Never staying in one place
Looking for something

Love is a land that I’ve never seen
Home is a place where I’ve never been
                    Ever the gypsy I wander

I follow no path
Save the rain and the windfall
Looking for something

Love is a land that I’ve never seen
Home is a place where I’ve never been
                    Ever the gypsy I wander

I need me no rest
From my roving and ranging
Looking for something

Love is a land that I’ve never seen
Home is a place where I’ve never been
                    Ever the gypsy I wander

Author's Note

Scott H.
This is 'Revisited' because the original only consisted of the response part.

In the world that exists in my head, the response part would also be in either Scots Gaelic or Navajo.
