Fallen Keys

Fallen Keys

A Poem by Rc R. Vagilidad
"

She made more fallen keys.

"

I watched my love play

In the midnight sky

As she traveled her fingers

Along my forgotten piano

The sound reminisces

Her beautiful face

As the wind prowls

Opposing her white silk gown

The open sky

Revisited ominously

Darkened her silver hair

Hid her emaciated skin

Her fingers augmented

They flew beyond

Lurked into the depths;

With our wedding ring

She tackled hard

Against my unsentimental

Making it bellow

With the moon’s vibes

She felt it with everything

Crying

With wrath,

She faced me…

Her visage slowly melts,

Raised her hands…

With the last fury strike

She made more fallen keys

You're only seventeen? This has a look about it of someone that has suffered years of love and misery. Fantastic. If this is a glimpse into the soul of a poet, I want to see more.

Rc,
You may only be seventeen, but the poet that lives within you is much more mature than that. I am almost four times your age, but the 'poet' in me is often just a teenager, I feel.

Thank's for the suggestion to read this.

This was a wonderful mingling of musical imagery and poetic verse. You wove the two exquisitely while threading the whole piece together with strong emotion.

Welcome to the Cafe...
