The feeling of holding you in my arms,

Lingers with me still.

The thought of your loving smile,

Makes for a brighter day.

You are the passion of my soul.

The light of my life,

The full completeness of me.

Soon you will be in my arms again,

And our world will be filled with each other.

The opportunity to once again,

Touch you,

Taste you,

Feel you close to me,

And laugh with the joy of our joined passion.

These are the thoughts that fill my soul,

And make the time away from you bearable.

This poem is surely about love but I felt something different here. I felt lonely because of the last line: "...make the time away from you bearable." I really miss my most amazing teacher and I could relate on that line! :'(
