Elemental verses

The wind quietly gossips to the tree leaves
Telling stories of its many adventures
Swirling from one tree top to the next
Conveying its stunning discoveries

The leaves flitter about with excitement
Fluttering as the cool breeze speaks freely
Rustling amongst each other with jovial talk
Of delightment in new found knowledge

The deep bass of powerful thunder rumbles
Off in the distance of the horizon
Announcing his commanding entrance, royally
A dominance that draws complete attention

Humans unknowledgible of their language
But intently listens to their dialect
Hypnotized by their enthralling sound
That rattles across the charcoal ocean sky

Nature’s lullaby for bedtime music
As the unique notes meander on
Enveloping the nocturnal sleeping hours
In an orchestra of elemental verses

Stunningly beautiful in its portrayal of nature's majesty personified in a most identifiable way. It speaks deeply to the soul of our brotherhood to all around us but our ignorance of its language, the true language of poetry, internal and external. Images so commonly ignored taken for granted as it whispers to us in the background of our mind. A truly wonderful piece that speaks to my heart.
