Big brother's bed

Big brother's bed

A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

no this is not about incest you pervs! get your minds out of the gutter It's about a pure little girls delight in the simple things in life :-)

"

It feels good, I'm light

I feel flowy

I could take flight

I'm almost gone

And then I'm back

My world turns gold

Instead of black

I sink deep

And let out a sigh

What a heavenly night

Davey's bed would never deny

Now instead of light

I'm heavy

My limbs like their made of jelly

Mornings come

The birds do sing

The only way to describe

Is if you truly do

Know what I mean

Loved it! This froths with the innocence of a little child! I remember when I we ( me n my siblings ) were small and our cousins used to visit us, we used to fight with each other over who get to sleep where. It made me remember those days! Nice one!

thanx J. :-) im glad you got it!
Luckily I still have a touch (and may I put emphasis on touch) of innocence left that I did not get an innuedo from the title until I read the description and thought about it. I like how this portrays falling asleep in a nice cozy bed :) It almost makes me want to go to bed!

hopefully your innocent and not a zombie :-P
Haha Honestly I thought dirty at first. I had to try really hard to see the deep meaning in this. I know exactly what you mean though. I don't have a brother but my sisters and I used to switch beds all the time :) Good poem.
