Traitor

Traitor

A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

A poem about knowing people are hiding something cruel from you read it if you wna knw more! :-D

"

Be a fighter

Chin high

Soul gone

Ice cold eyes

Nothing won

They'll never know

And you'll never tell

All that has happened

To you in that hell

Didn't they see

What could happen there

With nothing allowed

And no room for fear

I'll bet they say no

And always deny

The truth that we know

When we look in their eyes

As our soul cries

Very well thought out. As a soldier who has participated in war I have seen many looks in many eyes on both sides of the ponds. Some you don't like even when they are on your side. I like this very much - very well put!

Wow,interesting. How many people walk around on a daily basis with secrets and yet act like nothing has happened.the truth that we know when we looks in their eyes that's my favorite line.

thats my favorite stanza 2!!!! glad you liked it :-)
Wow!! Either this is death row and the most scariest dude on the planet is sweating like crazy from nerves ooooor the subject is waiting to go into gym class and worries himself silly about the bullies in their!! lol This can go everywhere. I love it. Love those first 3 stanzas. Brutal honesty of bravery being misplaced, and recognized for failure in its end. Maybe this is abut a hospital visit... : ) I don't think I want to know so I read it again!! Beautiful Emily Dickinson Jr.. xoxo -Mark
