Daffodil

Daffodil

A Poem by rachylou

The beautiful Daffodil,

Dotted around the hill,

Brightens our lives,

As soon as one arrives.

But then the stem starts to tilt,

And the flowers start to wilt,

Then gone is all the beauty,

And the world seems gloomy,

Because the beautiful Daffodil is gone.

nice images..it is a pity people dont plant chives with them, they hide the daff leaves and come into flower just as the daff flower disappears. I like how you create a feeling of suddenly observing and the pleasure in it...also the feeling of loss when it is gone. lovely.
