I am pushed forward

Into the scary building

Kindergarten

At the playground

Just swinging

A voice clears itself

My eyes look at the boy before me

Middle school

All through the drama

The fights

Rumors

Lies

Thrown into the pot of

There he was

Pale

Weak

Eyes closed

Chest moving

Up

Down

Doctor walks in

Doesn't even bother

To look me in the eyes

My best friend

Is going to die

My eyes were dried

My face was raw

The world was numb
