Rose

Who would have thought this would be where I would be. I look myself in the mirror and think about an older part of me. As I think back to my dark past my twisted mind wonders what did it. Was it the tiny being that inserted himself into my life? Such a small spec in a large planet changed my world. When the darkness filled my body from head to toe, you were there on your own. Cheering for my success as they rooted for my demise. There was a part of me that wished you’d just let me be and let my life be what it was always meant to be. But you pushed and you shoved until I saw the real me. There’s not enough thanks in the world that I can see that would repay you for everything you did for me. You are the light to my darkness, everything and more. I will love you forever my sweet rose colored boy.
