Depersonalisation Among the Waves

Depersonalisation Among the Waves

A Poem by Rasha Lama

As I sail alone
between the mountains of light
and mountains of beauty,

I cannot help but feel this disattachment
from you, from me,
from it all.

With your hands lost in the sea,
I see waves clasping around
currents on the shoreline.

What a punishment it is to see
the possibility of a calm unity in front of you
when you feel removed from it all.
