The Friend

The Friend

A Poem by Robert L.

Eloquent words, veiling and hollow:
He shrouds my ears and consciousness.
In sinful mire I do still wallow:
Searching for truth in darkness.

I have met people who dribble words from their mouths just to hear themselves speak. I really love short pieces, so much can be said in so few words. Nicely worked, Robert!

Thank you, Angi. I appreciate it.
so the mystery is presented....real friend or?

hollow words of friendship with no actions to back them up?

or

truth could be that elusive friend we search for....yes, the possibilities that are presented in wonderful short pieces like this.

bravo!
