A swing

A swing

A Poem by A

A swing

Safe

Like a hug

Laughter

Like a child

Dreams

Like a cloud

Free
Like a breeze

Escape

Like a train

Hang

Like a rag doll

Fly

Like a bird

Sway

Like a tree

Yell

Like my mom

Sing

Like no one is watching

Breathe

Like I’m in yoga

Kick

Like I’m a 5 year old that hasn’t gotten her way

Sit

Like I’m a rock

Dwell

Like Emily Dickinson… in possibility

Cry

Like I never had before

Express

Like I’m a star of a show

Look

Like there’s nothing that could hurt me

Love

Like I never had stopped

Pray

Like I still believe

Pretend

Like no wrong has ever been done

Whisper

Like the wind in the night

Imagine

Like there’s nothing stopping me

Jump

Like there’s no gravity

What a great place of mind to be. Safe, secure and free to be ones self. Very nice. This feeling of being free to be your true self is why I wrote a gift of love. So many women get suppressed from being able to experience such feelings.

I like the colored letter as it brings to life what you're truly illustrating within this special poem. As it relates to the joys of going back and forth while riding a swing. Great job, very well written. :)
