Yearning

 

I sit here writeing with an acheing hand....and a yearning heart

Having thoughts of you and me race in my confused mind

I don't know what to do, but to ask you to keep loving me

Yet i feel like i want more knowing i can't...not yet

But yet i yearn for everything about you

I yearn for your touch....just so I can feel all warm inside

I yearn for your kiss.....just to get me thru the day

I yearn for your voice.....just so i can smile every day

I yearn for your smile.....just so i blush and kiss you nearly every day

Then i begin to wonder if you yearn for me the same way I yearn for you

Its like when I talk to you i can tell in your voice you do still love me

And that your feelings have not changed at all towards me

Yet I feel as an outcast sometimes when you speak of another guy

I know I shouldn't be feeling this way but I'm only human

I wish I was perfect but i'm not

Thats why when i say things or feel ways like this

I do need your guidance so you can guide me the right way

Because you are my guardian angel as i am to you

I do need a good slap upside the head sometimes

But I hope soon we can finally sing that song

That song we been waiting to sing

The song of eternal love
