Gray Facade

Gray Facade

A Poem by rhythm&blues

Your lies made me doubt myself
they shouted as you whispered,
paraded in and out at night
hidden behind a gray ghostly facade,
in the light of day
the suit you wore still spoke
of black and white

love the paradox...the shouting and whispering juxtaposed...

there is so much gray area in life...yet some profess to be open minded and then really do see things only in black or white..no middle ground..
another good one with nice philosophy in the lines.

You are welcome ...:)
A poem of great parallels - "Your lies... shouted as you whispered" - a person hiding who they really were. That last line says so much - we claim "right or wrong", but know that this is never so clear. Nicely done!
